Boys Basketball Roundup: Balanced Scoring Leads Regina Past Tipton

Regina snapped a five-game losing streak with a 66-52 win over Tipton on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference South Division contest in Iowa City.
The Regals improved to 7-9 on the season and moved to 5-4 in RVC South Division play with the win.
Tipton dropped to 5-12 on the year and 1-8 in conference games with the loss.
Eddie Petersen led four Regina players in double figures with 14 points and also had six assists and three rebounds.
Drew Streb had 12 points and seven rebounds and John Devery had 12 points, four rebounds and two assists.
Michael Martin had 11 points and Coleton Daniel had nine points and three rebounds as all five starters had at least nine points for Regina as the Regals shot 50 percent from the field.
Connor Nicpon had six points, four assists, three rebounds and three steals off the bench.
Tipton was led by Preston Daedlow who had a game-high 15 points while Davis Webb had nine points and seven rebounds.
