West Branch had an early six-point lead get away in a 46-37 loss to Mid-Prairie on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference South Division contest in Wellman.

Mid-Prairie improved to 8-5 on the season and 5-2 in RVC South Division play while West Branch dropped to 3-12 and 3-5 in conference action.

Kylie Pickett had 12 points, six rebounds and six steals to lead West Branch.

Avery Schultes had seven points, three steals, three assists and two steals for the Bears and Aly Klinkkammer had six points and six assists.

Nora Pennington had nine points to lead five Mid-Prairie players with at least six points while Amara Jones and Kylie Reinier each had eight points.
