Girls Basketball Roundup: Cedar Falls Downs City High For Sixth Straight Win

Class 5A No. 14 Cedar Falls remained red-shot with a 54-38 win over City High on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in Cedar Falls.
The win was the sixth straight for Cedar Falls and improved the Tigers to 9-4 on the season while City High dropped to 3-9.
Augie Palmer had a game-high 21 points to lead City High and Tess Driscoll had nine points for the Little Hawks.
Emmy McComas added four points for City High.
Freshman Karis Finley led three Cedar Falls players in double figures with 20 points while Gabie Hanks had 15 and Grace Knutson had 13.
