Class 5A No. 12 West High pushed its winning streak to four with a 59-45 win over Dubuque Hempstead on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division contest in Iowa City.

West High improved to 9-2 on the season and 6-0 in MVC play while Dubuque Hempstead dropped to 1-11 and 0-5 in conference play with its 11^th consecutive loss.

Anna Prouty had a double-double with 21 points and 10 rebounds to lead West High while Melae’ Lacy had a double-double with 10 points and 10 rebounds.

Freshman Grace Fincham had 15 points, eight assists and six rebounds while Carolyn Pierce had nine points, four assists and three rebounds.
