Girls Basketball Roundup: City High Snaps Streak With Win Over Western Dubuque

City High got back on track on Tuesday with a 67-46 win over Western Dubuque in a Mississippi Valley Conference Valley Division contest in Iowa City.
The win snapped a five-game losing skid for City High and improved the Little Hawks to 3-7 on the season and 2-4 in MVC play.
Western Dubuque had a two-game winning streak snapped with the loss and dropped to 2-10 on the year and 1-4 in conference games.
August Palmer poured in a game-high 27 points to lead three City High players in double figures as the Little Hawks scored a season-high 67 points.
Tessa Driscoll had 18 points and Emmy McComas had 10 points for City High.
Lauren Koch and Halle Larew each had six points for the Little Hawks.
