West High dropped out of the most recent boys basketball rankings released on Monday by the Iowa High School Athletic Association.

The Trojans were No. 10 in the initial Class 4A rankings released in December but dropped to 6-3 on the with back-to-back losses last week to 3A top-ranked Cedar Rapids Xavier and City High by a combined three points.

Top-ranked teams in the rankings went unchanged this week with Waukee Northwest retaining the top spot in Class 4A, Cedar Rapids Xavier remaining number one in Class 3A and Central Lyon and Grand View Christian remaining number on in Class 2A and 1A respectively.
