Boys Basketball Roundup: City High Gets Second Straight Win With Road Victory at Marion

City High followed up a win in its final game of December with a victory in its first game in January downing Marion 68-63 in a non-conference contest in Marion.
Shamar Benton had 21 points and Trey Wright added 14 points and five rebounds as City High improved to 3-3 on the season with its second consecutive win.
Samuel Mbingazo had eight points, 13 rebounds and three blocked shots for City High and Evan Lampe added five points, seven rebounds and two steals for the Little Hawks.
Brayson Laube had a game-high 26 points to lead Marion as the Wolves dropped to 6-3 on the season.
Alex Mota had 12 points, seven rebounds and three assists for Marion and Calen Claypool had five points and eight rebounds.
