Class 5A No. 13 Liberty High outscored Cedar Rapids Kennedy 13-3 in overtime to secure a 62-52 win over the Cougars in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup on Tuesday in North Liberty.

Liberty High improved to 6-3 on the season with its third consecutive win while Cedar Rapids Kennedy had a four-game winning streak snapped with the loss and dropped to 4-4.

Jasmine Barney poured in a team-high 32 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and had three steals to lead Liberty High.

Ava Meyer had a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds and Kennedy Daugherty added three points and 10 rebounds.

Avery Gaudet had six points for the Lightning.
