Trey King Jr.
West High graduate Trey King Jr. rushed for 54 yards on three carries to help Iowa Western to a 31-0 win over Hutchison Community College in the Junior College National Championship game in Little Rock, Arkansas.
A 5-foot-9, 170-pound running back, King rushed for 244 yards while averaging 5.5 yards per carry on the season and had a season-long 51-yard run in the championship game.
Addie Schmierer
Liberty High graduate Addie Schmierer and current Drake sophomore had 13 digs as Drake concluded one of the most successful seasons in program history with a loss to Boston College in the finals of the National Invitational Volleyball Championship.
Schmierer finished the season fourth on the team with 234 digs as Drake concluded the season 30-8, the most single-season wins in program history.
Cam Miller
Former Solon standout and current North Dakota State junior quarterback Cam Miller rushed for 132 yards and a touchdown to help the Bison to a 35-32 win over Incarnate Word in the FCS semifinals on Friday.
On the season Miller has passed for 1,715 yards and 11 touchdowns and has rushed for 497 yards and a team-high 15 touchdowns leading North Dakota State to a 12-1 record and a spot in the FCS National Championship game on January 8 in Frisco, Texas
