West High, Solon and Regina all moved up one spot in the most recent girls basketball rankings released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union on Thursday.

Regina (7-1) moved up to seventh in the Class 2A rankings while Solon climbed (5-1) in the rankings for the third consecutive week moving up to sixth in the Class 3A rankings.

West High (5-0) moved up to sixth in the Class 5A rankings.

Liberty High and Clear Creek Amana each held their spots in the most recent rankings.

Clear Creek Amana (5-1) remained seventh in the 4A rankings while Liberty High (4-3) held its spot at No. 13 in Class 5A.

Top-ranked teams this week remain the same with Waterloo West (5A), Cedar Rapids Xavier (4A), Estherville-Lincoln Central (3A), Dike-New Hartford (2A) and Algona Garrigan (1A) holding the top spots.
