Regina bolted to a 21-9 lead in the first quarter and held on for a 59-52 win over West Branch in a River Valley Conference South Division contest on Tuesday in Iowa City.

Michael Martin had a season-high 23 points to lead Regina as the Regals improved to 3-3 on the season and moved to 2-1 in RVC South Division play.

West Branch dropped to 1-4 and 1-1 in RVC South play.

Drew Streb had 16 points and Coleton Daniel added nine for Regina.
