Girls Basketball Roundup: Regina Stretches Win Streak to Five With Win Over West Branch

Morgan Miller poured in a game-high 28 points as Class 2A eighth-ranked Regina pushed its winning streak to five with a 71-27 win over West Branch on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference South Division matchup in Iowa City.
Miller made six 3-pointers and added five assists, three rebounds and three steals as Regina improved to 7-1 on the season.
West Branch dropped to 0-5 with the loss.
Alli Clark added 20 points, four assists and three steals for the Regals as Regina shot 54 percent from the floor including 10-of-21 from 3-point range.
Dani Laughlin came off the bench to hit three 3-pointers and score 13 points while Jillian Panther added six points and four rebounds off the bench.
Grace Gaarde and Ella McLaughlin each had three assists for Regina.
