Class 3A seventh-ranked City High defeated Cedar Rapids Washington 48-25 in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual on Thursday in Cedar Rapids.

City High won 10 matches on Thursday including three via pin in the win over the Warriors.

Kendall Kurtz (106), Cale Seaton (126) and Ben Kueter all earned wins by pin on Thursday.

Kurtz earned a second-period pin at 106 while Seaton posted a second-period pin at 126 and Kueter pinned Derek Jeyes in 15 seconds at 220 pounds.

Gabe Egeland won by decision at 145 pounds, Nick Marker added a decision at 160 pounds and City High earned four wins via forfeit.
