Liberty High defeated Dubuque Wahlert 49-16 on Thursday in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual meet in Dubuque.

Christos Panos, Tien Pham, Landon Bell, Damien Garrett, Eduardo Zepeda and Vincenzo Lima all earned victories by fall for Liberty High.

Panos posted a first-period pin of Cody Avery at 113 pounds while Pham pinned Gaige Miller in 2:47 at 138 pounds and Garrett recorded a second-period pin of Thomas Scherr at 160 pounds.

Zepeda pinned Kenney Petraitis in 4:45 at 182 pounds and Lima pinned Andrew Slaght at 195 pounds.

Anyhlan Peoples won a decision at 145 pounds, Ethan Barber recorded a major decision win at 170 pounds and Amir Jalilian-Nosraty won by forfeit at 220 pounds.
