Class 5A No. 13 Liberty High rolled to an 83-38 win over Dubuque Hempstead on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in North Liberty.

Liberty High improved to 3-2 with the win while Dubuque Hempstead dropped to 1-3 with the loss.

Jasmine Barney led Liberty High with 18 points, nine rebounds and seven assists while Ava Meyer added 18 points, five rebounds and four blocks for the Lightning.

Bella Tafolla had 17 points and five rebounds while Avery Gaudet had seven points and six rebounds.

Kennedy Daugherty had six points, four rebounds and two assists.
