Solon improved to 2-0 with a 62-26 win over Vinton-Shellsburg on Tuesday in a WAMAC cross-divisional contest in Solon.

Sean Stahle had a game-high 13 points to lead Solon while Jake Benzing added 10 points for the Spartans.

Oaken Foster and Vince Steinbrech each had nine points and Rylen Stiegelmeyer had eight for Solon.

Cameron Dunbar had 12 points for Vinton-Shellsburg which dropped to 0-3 with the loss.
