Class 2A No. 14 West Branch fell to Dyersville Beckman 45-18 on Tuesday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional matchup in Dyersville.

Beckman improved to 1-0 with the win while West Branch dropped to 0-1.

Sadie Smith led the Bears with 10 points and five rebounds while Iva Senio had four points, five steals and two rebounds for West Branch.
