Boys Swimming Roundup: West High Defeats Cedar Rapids Jefferson in Season Opener

West High opened the season with a 127-41 win over Cedar Rapids Jefferson in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual meet at the Coralville Recreation Center.
Lukas Swanson, Max Gerke and Holden Carter all won two individual events as the Trojans won all 11 events on Tuesday.
Swanson won the 100 and 200 freestyle and Gerke added titles in the 200 IM and 500 freestyle for West High.
Carter won the 100 backstroke and 100 butterfly.
West High also got individual titles from Winston Fan in the 100 breaststroke and Ian Caballero in the 50 freestyle.
