Jaedynn Evans
Former Regina standout and current University of Central Oklahoma sophomore Jaedynn Evans was named to the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association all-conference volleyball team.
Evans was named to the MIAA first team as a libero after an impressive season in which she led NCAA Division II in both total digs (734) and digs per set (6.55).
The 5-foot-7 Evans has 16 matches with 25 or more digs this season and her 734 total digs rank fifth all-time for a single season at Central Oklahoma.
Tatum Koenig
Former West Branch all-stater and current University of Wisconsin-Green Bay senior guard Tatum Koenig had a strong showing in a season-opening loss at Drake last week.
Koenig led Green Bay with13 points and five rebounds in an 80-67 loss to the Bulldogs in Des Moines.
The 5-foot-7 Koenig had 10 points, two rebounds and an assist in a 74-45 win over Marist on Saturday.
Lauren Zacharias
West High graduate and current Wayne State senior guard Lauren Zacharias had a team-high 22 points in a season-opening 99-90 win over Newman University on Friday.
Zacharias was 8-of-14 from the field, including 4-of-8 from 3-point range in the win and added two rebounds and two assists in 18 minutes.
