Over the last two weeks City High senior Ford Washburn swept the Mississippi Valley Conference titles this season claiming consecutive individual crowns at the MVC Super Meet and Divisional Meet.

This week Washburn highlighted a group of five City High athletes to earn MVC all-divisional honors for their performance at the divisional meet last week.

Washburn was named the Valley Division athlete of the year while teammates Truman Thompson, Ammon Smith, Noah Carey and Ayman Noreldaim all earned all-divisional honors.

Thompson joined Washburn on the Valley Division first team while Smith was a second-team honoree.

Carey and Noreldaim each earned honorable mention status.

West High sophomore Moustafa Tiea was a member of the Valley Division first team while senior Seth Cheney earned second-team honors.

Liberty High had three athletes earn all-division honors in the Mississippi Division.

Junior Aidan Decker earned a spot on the Mississippi Division first team along with sophomore Noah Gregoire.

Senior Nathan Kinzer earned honorable mention honors for the Lightning.
