West High returned to the Class 4A girls cross country rankings coming in at No. 19 in the most recent rankings released on Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

City High dropped six spots to No. 16 in the most recent Class 4A rankings while Dubuque Hempstead remained in the top spot.

In the Class 3A rankings Solon held its spot at third behind top-ranked Ballard and second-ranked Pella while Clear Creek Amana stayed put at No. 13.

Regina moved up one spot to No. 12 in the Class 1A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams this week include Monticello in Class 2A and Logan-Magnolia in Class 1A.
