Solon moved up one spot to third in the most recent Class 3A girls cross country rankings released on Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

The Spartans trail top-ranked Pella and Ballard in the 3A rankings while Clear Creek Amana moved three spots to No. 13 this week.

City High dropped one spot to tenth in the Class 4A rankings while Regina returned to the Class 1A rankings after a week away jumping back in at No. 13.

Other top-ranked teams in the rankings this week include Dubuque Hempstead in Class 4A, Monticello in Class 2A and Logan-Magnolia in Class 1A.
