For the first time this season Regina is the top-ranked team in the Class 1A boys cross country rankings.

After four weeks as the second-ranked team in Class 1A Regina took over the top spot in the 1A rankings in the most recent rankings released on Tuesday by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

The Regals replace previously top-ranked ACGC in the top spot.

Regina is followed in the Class 1A top five by second-ranked ACGC, third-ranked Woodbine, Bellevue and Ogden.

Solon moved up five spots to No. 10 in the Class 3A rankings while Clear Creek Amana climbed one spot to No. 12 in Class 3A.

In Class 4A City High moved up one spot to fourth while West High slipped one spot to No. 18.

Other top-ranked teams in this weeks rankings include West Des Moines Dowling in Class 4A, Pella in Class 3A and Des Moines Christian in Class 2A.
