West High defeated City High 131-52 in a Mississippi Valley Conference dual at the Coralville Recreation Center on Tuesday.

Makala Hajek won a pair of individual titles for West High and Jade Roghair, Kolby Reese, Bella Friessen, Karen Liu and Kamilia Swanson all won one individual event for the Trojans.

Hajek won the 100 butterfly in a time of 1:02.11 and added a title in the 100 breaststroke in 1:14.4 to join City High sophomore Grace Hoeper as individuals to win two events on Tuesday.

Roghair won the 200 IM in 2:12.38 and Reese claimed the title in the 50 freestyle in 25.64.

Friessen added a title in the 100 freestyle in 57.04 while Liu won the 500 freestyle in a time of 5:40.9

Kamilia Swanson won the 1-meter diving competition for West High with a score of 233.7 and West High swept the three relay events.

Hoeper won a pair of individual titles to lead City High winning titles in the 200 freestyle and 100 backstroke.

Hoeper won the 200 freestyle in a time of 1:58.67 and finished first in the 100 backstroke in 1:02.05.
