City High swept Cedar Rapids Washington 25-17, 25-20, 25-11 in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division matchup on Tuesday in Cedar Rapids.

City High improved to 11-12 on the season and 2-3 in MVC play while Cedar Rapids Washington dropped to 2-16 and 0-5 in conference action.

Claire Ernst led City High with 16 kills and seven digs while Emmy McComas added eight kills, 16 digs and four ace serves.

Ruby McDonough had eight kills and two blocks and Sidney Slay had 26 assists.
