Class 3A sixth-ranked West Liberty swept Regina 25-19, 25-17, 25-22 in a River Valley Conference South Division match on Thursday in West Liberty.

West Liberty improved to 18-4 on the season and 4-0 in RVC play with the win while Regina dropped to 9-9 on the season and 3-3 in conference matches.

Freshman Reese Naeve led Regina with 12 kills while Kiley Devery added seven kills for the Regals.

Naeve also had 10 digs while Sydney Wagner had 25 assists and seven digs and Courtney Kessler had seven digs and three ace serves for Regina.

Maelyn Wainwright and Sophie Buysse each had 11 kills to lead West Liberty and Ava Morrison added eight kills for the Comets.
