City High finished fourth behind a trio of top-five ranked teams on Thursday at the Jim Boughton Invitational at the Dubuque Cross Country Complex.

Class 4A top-ranked Dubuque Hempstead won the team title with 22 points while third-ranked Pleasant Valley was second with 51 points and fifth-ranked Dubuque Senior was third with 76.

No. 10 City High was fourth with 116 points followed by No. 18 Cedar Falls with 136 and North Scott with 145.

Ani Wedemeyer led City High with an eighth-place finish in a time of 18:58 while Iris Wedemeyer was 13^th in 19:08 for the Little Hawks.

Nina Peterson finished 27^th in 1955 and Nicole Peterson was 31^st in 20:10 for City High.
