Liberty High, Clear Creek Amana and Solon all moved up in the most recent volleyball rankings released on Thursday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

Clear Creek Aman (16-5) made the biggest jump, climbing from ninth to sixth in the Class 4A rankings.

The Clippers trail only top-ranked Cedar Rapids Xavier, Marion, North Scott, Western Dubuque and Council Bluffs Lewis Central in the 4A rankings.

Liberty High (14-6) moved up two spots to second in the Class 5A rankings behind top-ranked Pleasant Valley.

Solon (14-6) jumped one spot to eighth in the Class 3A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams this week include Des Moines Christian (3A), Dike-New Hartford (2A) and North Tama (1A).
