Aidan Decker and Noah Gregoire each posted top-15 finishes to lead Liberty High to a sixth-place finish at the 21-team Rich Engel Classic on Thursday at Birdsall Park in Cedar Falls.

Decker finished sixth overall in a time of 16:45.4 while Gregoire was 15^th in 17:17.2 as the Lightning finished with 237 team points.

Host Cedar Falls won the team title with 54 points followed by Cedar Rapids Kennedy with 77 and Urbandale with 83.

Clear Creek Amana was 10^th with 261 points.

Jacob Madsen finished 37^th for Liberty High in a time of 18:00.4.

Brock Hilsman led Clear Creek Amana with an 18^th place finish in a time of 17:27.7 while Peyton Stadler was 45^th in 18:11.5 and Isaac Sorensen was 48^th in 18:20.6.

Miles Wilson of Cedar Rapids Kennedy won the individual title in a time of 15:51.7.
