Liberty High shot a 303 on Monday at the first Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Divisional Meet at Brown Deer Golf Course in Coralville and sits third in the Mississippi Divisional standings after two events.

Tate Brunk, Ryan Schmeirer, Vaughn Tyler and JJ Grimm all shot under 80 on Monday as the Lightning posted fourth best score at the divisional meet.

Cedar Falls shot a 285 on Monday and leads the Mississippi Division standings with a 36-hole score of 590.

Cedar Rapids Xavier shot a 299 on Monday and is 26 strokes back of Cedar Falls with a 616 while Liberty High sits third with a 625.

Cedar Rapids Prairie is fourth with a two-event score of 627 following a 311 on Monday while Dubuque Wahlert shot a 302 on Monday and is fifth with a 631.

Brunk led Liberty High with an even-par 71 on Monday, firing a 35 on the front nine and moving into eighth-place with a 36-hole total of 71 after opening with an 83 at the MVC Super Meet.

Schmeirer closed with a 35 on the back nine on Monday to finish with a 74 and is 15^th in the divisional standings with a 159.

Grimm and Tyler each shot 79 on Monday and are 11^th and 12^th in the Mississippi Division standings after two events.

Grimm is 11^th with a 156 and Tyler is 12^th with a 157.

Owen Sawyer of Cedar Falls is the individual divisional leader after two events with a 135, 13 shots in front of Tanner Wachtl of Cedar Rapids Prairie.

Max Tjoa of Cedar Falls carded the lowest score of the round on Monday with an eight-under 63.
