Colby Greene
West High graduate and current Southeast Missouri State senior Colby Greene had 35 kills in three matches at the Northern Iowa tournament in a return to the state of Iowa over the weekend.
Greene led the RedHawks with 14 kills in a loss to Grand Canyon and had a team-high 12 kills in a loss to Northern Iowa.
The 6-foot-2 Greene also had nine kills in a win over Western Michigan as the RedHawks went 1-2 on the weekend.
On the season Greene has a team-leading 108 kills while helping Southeast Missouri State to a 4-5 start.
Oliver Martin
Former West High all-stater and current Nebraska senior Oliver Martin had a pair of receptions in a 45-42 loss to Georgia Southern on Saturday.
Martin caught two passes for 36 leads on Saturday.
Cael O’Neill
Solon graduate Cael O’Neill was named American Rivers Conference special teams player of the week after a strong performance in a win over the University of Wisconsin-Stout on Saturday.
O’Neill kicked a pair of field goals and connected on all three PAT attempts to help Wartburg to a 27-0 win over Wisconsin-Stout.
O’Neill hit field goals of 24 and 21 yards in the win as the Knights improved to 2-0 on the season.
