Class 5A top-ranked Liberty High swept Dubuque Wahlert 25-10, 25-17, 25-23 on Tuesday in a Mississippi Valley Conference Mississippi Division match in Dubuque.

Liberty High improved to 6-3 on the season and 2-0 in MVC play while Dubuque Wahlert dropped to 0-1.

Cassidy Hartman led three Liberty High players with double figures kills with a match-high 16 while Shelby Kimm added 11 kills.

Lilah VanScoyoc added 10 kills and two blocks for Liberty High.

Grace Hennings had six kills and four blocks while Asta Hildebrand had 35 assists and Kimm had a team-high 18 digs and four ace serves.

Isabelle Mehmen had 14 digs while Hildebrand added 13 digs and Hartman had 11.

Ella Kelleher led Dubuque Wahlert with seven kills and Alicen Bainbridge and Anna Roling each had six for the Golden Eagles.
