Solon remained atop the Class 3A girls cross country rankings in in the most recent rankings released on Tuesday morning by the Iowa Association of Track Coaches.

The defending Class 3A Spartans are number one in a 3A top-five that features second-ranked Mount Vernon-Lisbon, No. 3 Ballard, Glenwood and Pella.

City High is No. 14 in the Class 4A rankings while Liberty High moved into the 4A rankings at No. 19.

Dubuque Hempstead remained atop the 4A rankings for the second week in a row.

Regina held its spot at No. 10 in the Class 1A rankings.

Denver is the top-ranked team in Class 2A while South Winneshiek takes over as the top-ranked team in Class 1A.
