Williamsburg Blanks Regina in Season Opener

Regina was held to 58 yards of total offense in a 31-0 win loss to Williamsburg on Friday in the season opener for both teams in Williamsburg.
The Raiders held Regina to -14 yards rushing on 20 carries while reversing the outcome of a 16-14 Regina win in the opener last season.
Williamsburg led 14-0 at the half and put the game away with two more touchdowns in the second half.
Gentry Dumont passed for 56 yards for Regina with junior Jackson Naeve making five catches for 57 yards.
Ronan Poynton had a team-high 13 tackles for Regina including 12 solo stops while Jack Clark had seven tackles.
Chris Waikel and Steven Liu each had six tackles for the Regals and Dumont picked off a pass.
