City High Second in Final Regular Season IHSBCA Rankings

City High moved up to second in the final regular season Class 4A rankings released by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association on Monday.
The Little Hawks have won seven in a row including a pair of wins over top-10 opponents Waukee Northwest and Urbandale on Saturday.
City High is 28-8 and trails only top-ranked Johnston (30-4) in the Class 4A rankings with Cedar Rapids Prairie, Waukee and Ankeny Centennial rounding out of the top five.
Clear Creek Amana (21-10) is among the team receiving votes in the Class 3A rankings.
Council Bluffs Lewis Central is the top-ranked team in Class 3A followed by Davenport Assumption, Grinnell, Dubuque Wahlert and Cedar Rapids Xavier.
