Baseball Roundup: Regina Rolls Past West Branch in RVC South Matchup

Regina hammered 13 hits and scored in all four innings on its way to a 17-2 four-inning win over West Branch on Wednesday in a River Valley Conference South Division contest in West Branch.
The Regals improved to 13-8 on the season and 13-3 in RVC play while completing the regular season sweep of the Bears with the win.
West Branch dropped to 6-11 and 5-9 on the season.
Connor Nicpon earned the win for Regina allowing two runs on four hits while striking out one and walking three in three innings.
Henry Bottorff worked a scoreless inning of relief for the Regals.
Seven different Regals had a hit led by Ethan VonHarz who went 4-for-4 with three RBI and a run scored for Regina.
Drew Streb was 3-for-4 with two runs and an RBI and Christian Mills was 2-for-4 with four RBI and scored two runs.
Jack Tierney had a triple, scored four runs and drove in a run, Danny Gavin had a hit, drove in two runs and scored three times and Cameron Lehman had a hit, scored two runs and drove in two runs.
Reese Trepanier had a double for Regina while Gage Gingerich had a hit and scored a run.
Reese Gingerich and Lucas Pierce each had hits and drove in runs for the Bears while Quinn Hayden added a hit.
