Baseball Roundup: Tierney Leads Regina in Rout of Durant

Regina scored in each of the first three innings and rolled to a 17-7 six-inning win over Durant on Monday in a River Valley Conference South Division matchup in Iowa City.
Regina improved to 11-8 on the season and 11-3 in RVC play with the win while Durant dropped to 11-6 and 8-5.
Jack Tierney earned the win for Regina allowing seven runs, four earned, on seven hits while striking out seven and walking four in five innings of work.
Henry Bottorff tossed a scoreless inning of relief.
Tierney also went 3-for-4 with a double, two RBI and three runs scored for the Regals.
Jackson Naeve was 3-for-4 with two RBI and two runs scored and Noah Kron went 3-for-4 with three runs scored and an RBI.
Danny Gavin had a double, drove in a run and scored two runs and Christian Mills was 2-for-5 with a double and two RBI.
Ethan VonHarz had a hit, drove in a run and scored a run and Cameron Lehman scored twice and drove in a run.
