Kendall Jensen tossed a five-hitter to lift Solon to a 3-1 win over Alburnett in a non-conference contest in Solon on Monday.
Jensen struck out eight and walked just one in the complete game win as Solon improved to 13-9 on the season.
Alburnett dropped to 14-12 with the loss.
Hilary Wilson went 2-for-3 with a double to lead Solon while Camryn Keith added two hits for the Spartans.
Meg O’Neil had a hit and scored a run and Ava Stebral had a hit and drove in a run for Solon.
Carly Ellison had a hit and Izzy Frees had a hit and scored a run and Mia Stahle had a walk and scored a run.
