Clear Creek Amana held its spot at third in the most recent Class 4A softball rankings released by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union on Thursday.

The Clippers are off to an 18-2 start and trail only top-ranked ADM and second-ranked Winterset in the Class 4A rankings for the second week in a row.

Liberty High (20-4) remained No. 10 in the Class 5A rankings while Regina (10-7) dropped two spots to sixth in the Class 2A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams this week include Waukee Northwest in Class 5A, Mount Vernon in Class 3A, Central Springs in Class 2A and North Linn in Class 1A.
