A night after scoring a season-high 26 runs the Regina offense remained red-hot on Thursday.
Regina hammered 12 hits and scored 11 runs in a 11-1 six-inning win over Northeast on Thursday in a River Valley Conference cross-divisional contest in Iowa City.
Danny Gavin went 3-for-4 to lead seven Regina players with a hit on Thursday as the Regals improved to 10-7 on the season and 10-3 in RVC play.
Northeast dropped to 5-9 on the year and 3-8 in conference play.
Gavin doubled, homered, scored three runs and drove in five to lead the Regina attack.
Colin Baker, Cameron Lehman and Ethan VonHarz each had two hits for Regina.
VonHarz went 2-for-4 with two RBI and a run scored, Baker drove in a run and Lehman scored twice.
Connor Nicpon had a hit and scored two runs, Christian Mills had a hit and drove in two runs and Noah Kron had a hit and scored a run.
Lehman earned the win for Regina allowing one unearned run on three hits while striking out six and walking three in a six-inning complete game.
