Clear Creek Amana held its spot at third in the most recent softball rankings released on Wednesday by the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union.

The Clippers are off to a 13-1 start this season and trail only top-ranked ADM and second-ranked Winterset in the most recent Class 4A rankings.

Clear Creek Amana joins Liberty High and Regina as the Your Prep Sports area teams to appear in the most recent rankings.

Regina (8-4) held its spot at fourth in the Class 2A rankings while Liberty High (15-3) dropped one spot to No. 10 in the Class 5A rankings.

Other top-ranked teams this week include Johnston in Class 5A, Davenport Assumption in Class 3A, Central Springs in Class 2A and North Linn in Class 1A.
