Softball Roundups: Solon Stays Hot With Doubleheader Sweep of Center Point-Urbana

As summer approaches Solon is heating up.
Solon pushed its winning streak to five with its second WAMAC Conference sweep in as many days on Wednesday downing Center Point-Urbana 10-3 and 9-3 in a cross-divisional doubleheader in Center Point.
The Spartans improved to 7-5 on the season and 6-4 in WAMAC play while Center Point-Urbana dropped to 6-5 and 3-3.
Kendall picked up the win in the opener allowing three runs, two earned, on four hits while striking out two in a complete game.
Ava Stebral, Meghan O’Neil, Camryn Keith and Mia Stahle all had two hits for Solon in game one.
Keith doubles, drove in two runs and scored twice and Stebral doubles, drove in three runs and scored a run.
Stahle had a triple and scored twice and O’Neil scored a run and drove in a run.
Bailey Woolley had a double, drove in two runs and scored a run and Addie Miller had a hit and scored a run.
Izzy Frees picked up the win in the nightcap allowing two runs on seven hits in a complete game.
Hilary Wilson went 2-for-4 with a double and a home run and drove in three runs.
Keith was 3-for-4 with a double and two RBI and Stebral had a hit, drove in two runs and scored a run.
Miller scored twice, Frees had a hit and an RBI and Stahle and O’Neil each had a hit and scored a run.
