Softball Roundup: Nibaur Leads Class 2A Fourth-ranked Regina Past Mid-Prairie

Class 2A fourth-ranked Regina posted its second conference win in as many days on Tuesday defeating Mid-Prairie 6-1 in a River Valley Conference South Division contest in Iowa City.
Regina improved to 7-4 on the season and 5-1 in RVC play while Mid-Prairie dropped to 4-7 and 2-3 in conference games.
Emma Nibaur picked up the win allowing just one run on six hits while striking out six and also went 2-for-4 with a double, an RBI and a run scored.
Courtney Kessler went 2-for-4 with an RBI and two runs scored and Gabby Sueppel had a double, drove in a run and scored a run for Regina.
Dani Laughlin and Kennedy Connor each had a hit and scored a run and Laci Chambliss and Morgan Gahan each added hits for the Regals.
