City High Remains Third in Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association Class 4A Rankings

City High held its spot at third in the most recent Class 4A rankings released by the Iowa High School Baseball Coaches Association on Monday.
The Little Hawks trail top-ranked Johnston (9-0) and second-ranked West Des Moines Dowling (5-1) in a Class 4A top-five that also includes fourth-ranked Waukee (7-0) and No. 5 Indianola (7-2).
City High is off to a 9-2 start and has won five straight following a doubleheader sweep of Waterloo East on Friday.
Clear Creek Amana made its season debut in the Class 3A rankings coming in at sixth.
The Clippers are 5-0 and already have a doubleheader sweep of fourth-ranked Marion.
Joining Johnston as top-ranked teams this week are Dubuque Wahlert in Class 3A, Van Meter in Class 2A and Mason City Newman in Class 1A.
