Clear Creek Amana defeated Fort Madison in a penalty kick shootout 1-0 (4-3) on Tuesday in a Class 2A, Region 7 semifinal in Tiffin.

After 100 minutes of scoreless action the Clippers earned a 4-3 edge in penalty kicks to advance to the Region 7 title game.

Clear Creek Amana (10-7) will face fifth-ranked Cedar Rapids Xavier (11-3) on Thursday at 6 p.m. in the Region 7 title game.

Fort Madison closed the season 12-4.
