Class 4A third-ranked City High scored six unanswered runs over the final four innings in a 6-2 non-conference win over Davenport West on Monday in Davenport.

Gavin Koch tossed 6 1/3 strong innings to earn the win as City High improved to 5-2 on the season while Davenport West dropped to 3-5 with the loss.

Koch allowed two runs, one earned, on six hits while striking out 12 and walking just one in 6 1/3 innings.

DJ Hodges went 2-for-2 with a double and a triple to lead City High while Gable Mitchell had two hits, scored two runs and drove in a run.

Joey Bouska had two hits, scored a run and drove in a run and Cade Obermueller, Alex Knudtson and John Klosterman all had hits and drove in runs for the Little Hawks.
