Liberty High scored three second-half goals on its way to a 5-2 win over Mount Pleasant on Friday in a Class 2A, Region 5 quarterfinal at East Lake Park in Mount Pleasant.

Liberty High improved to 8-9 with the win and will travel to No. 13 Pella (9-6) on Tuesday for a Region 5 semifinal.

Mount Pleasant closed the season 8-7.
