Class 1A No. 14 Regina opened the postseason with a 10-0 win over Anamosa on Thursday in a Substate 3 quarterfinal at Regina Field in Iowa City.

Three different Regals had three goals and seven players had a goal as Regina improved to 9-11 on the season and advanced to the Substate 3 semifinal on Monday.

Regina will host No. 15 Waterloo Columbus (10-8) on Monday at 6:30 p.m. while Anamosa closed the season 1-14.

Kaleab Wendy, Jack Hoover and Matt Colony all had two goals for Regina while Evan Lacina, Emiliano Herrera-Sinnwell, Kyle Evans and Andrew Deninger all had one goal.

Coleton Daniel, Will Farnsworth and Joe Maley all had two assists for the Regals and Wendy, Hoover and Evan Loening added one assist.

Junior Dylan Vittetoe had three saves and teamed up with Andrew Wiese to post the shutout in goal.
