Carey Koenig
City High graduate and current Drake freshman Carey Koenig was named to the Missouri Valley Conference all-tournament team last week.
Koenig had two hits and scored a run in a 9-6 win over Bradley helping the Bulldogs to a 1-1 mark in the conference tournament.
The former all-stater at City High hit .232 as a freshman for the Bulldogs with two home runs and 16 RBI.
Tevon Williamson
City High graduate and current St. Charles Community College freshman Tevon Williamson posted a pair of top-four finishes at the NJCAA Division 3 national meet last weekend.
Williamson was runner-up in the high jump clearing 6-4 and added a fourth-place finish in the 110 hurdles in 16.04.
Kate Bracken
Former Regina all-stater and current Minnesota State sophomore Katie Bracken had a strong season while helping the Mavericks to a 48-14 record and a berth in the NCAA Divisional II regional tournament.
Bracken finished the season with a 7-2 record in the circle posting a 2.31 ERA and 1.08 WHIP while striking out 33 in 66 2/3 innings.
The Regina graduate also hit .228 with a home run and seven RBI.
