A pair of traditional boys soccer powers returned to the Iowa High School Soccer Coaches Association rankings this week.

Regina and City High both returned to the rankings this week when the IAHSSCA released its most recent set of rankings on Sunday.

City High (4-2) entered the Class 3A rankings at No. 15 after a one-week absence while Regina (4-3) returns to the 1A rankings at No. 14.

Liberty High (8-1) slipped five spots to seventh in the Class 3A rankings and sits three spots in front of defending state runner-up West High (7-2) which dropped two spots to No. 10 this week.

Solon (7-2) climbed three spots to No. 8 in the Class 2A rankings.

Top-ranked teams this week are Ankeny (3A), Spencer (2A) and Mid-Prairie (1A).
